Bring Insulin Into The Picture
The yeast starts to grow into the lining of your gut and damages it. Have you every heard the term "Leaky Gut". Literally, you have holes in your gut! Your digestive function is now compromised, you have food particles being released into your bloodstream by these holes (not a good issue, but a completely different topic), you are no longer properly absorbing nutrients, and your immune system is throwing red flags right and left. Because your immune system natural response is to create inflammation around an invader that is what it does in the gut. Yet this inflammation only adds to all the issues mentioned above. It is all one vicious cycle!
So so not a pretty picture right? To stop the cycle we must address the root issue, Blood Sugar and Insulin Resistance. Check back this next week for more on how to create Insulin Sensitivity and the benefits.
