These recipes work for several reasons; they disinfect, polish, and smell delightful! :) However, use your own creativity with different essential oils! I love making a batch of an all-natural cleaner, splitting it up into little bowls and adding mixes of EOs. Include the kids, make it an experiment! I love this company's essential oils because they always smell exactly like the plant the are taken from! Their quality is superb! Check it out!

Controlling Kitchen Pests
For all manner of bugs, simply place 3-4 drops of Peppermint Essential Oil across their paths or entry points. A few drops in dark cabinet corners will do wonders! For cockroaches however, sprinkle a mixture of borax and sugar in the dark, damp places they like to hide. Please do not allow children to ingest borax. For mice, mix 2 cups of water with 2 tsp. Peppermint EO, or 4 tsp. fresh Peppermint Tea in a spray bottle. Spray wherever you find their droppings.
